Honey Production Workshop

A short game where you play as the newly hired Honey Production Manager of your beehive. Will you save the hive from starvation in the coming winter?

Project Summary

This short game was created over the course of a month for an assignment at Ringling College of Art and Design. My concept was to blend the uniquely human concept of an office manager with a insectoid twist for a humorous, quirky experience reflected from the gameplay down to the set dressing details.

Personal Role

As the sole developer on this, I was responsible for:

– Concept art
– Game design and writing
– Modeling and materials
– Programming (inventory system, crafting system, branching narrative system, environmental interactions)

Tools: Unreal Engine 4, Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Photoshop
